Ipseus
ipseus is a groundbreaking psychological software product which allows scientific researchers to
investigate identity processes and redefinition of individuals within a particular area of interest.
With ipseus, investigators can create a customised assessment tool tailored directly to the sample
of participants for study. ipseus software becomes a bespoke 'identity instrument', which
automatically calculates the parameters of each participant's identity via Boolean algebraic formulas.
The foundations of Identity Structure Analysis (ISA) were developed about 30 years ago by Peter Weinreich. ISA
has been subsequently augmented and applied in research across a wide range of investigations. Utilising the ISA
psychological framework, ipseus produces a detailed and comprehensive idiographic (case study)
analysis of identity, which is presented in tabular and graphical form.
