ipseus software is suitable for students, researchers, academic institutions, healthcare professionals, psychologists, psychiatrists, sociologists or non-profit organisations interested in exploring the field of self and identity.
Unlike traditional psychometric assessments, ipseus can be applied to any individual or group under study. ISA allows researchers to investigate the different areas that contribute to an individual's sense of identity, including perception of self across time and context, as well as appraisal of others and identifications with others.
ipseus software represents a powerful but user-friendly 'front-end' into which any number of individual components relating specifically to the research area undertaken and the participants studied can be integrated.
The resulting 'identity instrument' created can be used to assess the psychological processes associated with matters as diverse as psychiatric disturbance, workplace identification, lone parenting, immigration, and physical illness, to name just a few.
The software allows researchers to embark on independent and unique projects into which they can feed their own ideas, and offers researchers the option to carry out more wide-ranging longitudinal studies of identity.
